Jamie Lamb Photography

Through a childhood riddled with adversity, he emerged. Gentle and inquisitive by nature, Jamie finds solace in capturing the beauty within the mundane. To his self-trained eye, an everyday object suddenly becomes something of intriguing curiosity with depths of unperceived beauty waiting to be explored.

Inspired by the works of such famous photographers as Ansel Adams and Richard Avedon, a young Jamie began to experiment with black and white photography using a borrowed, manual focus SLR Pentax camera. In the darkroom of his high school, he discovered he had a talent that captured the attention of mentors and classmates.

Soon thereafter, Jamie began to explore various camera techniques and developed his photography to include fashion, wedding, landscape and portrait styles. Never static and forever in a state of evolution, a number of Jamie’s photographs have lent themselves to various media design elements including his own graphic and web based designs.

A soul enriched with a creative passion, the world sees an extension of his thoughts and ideas through photographs that are visually communicative. Often Jamie’s photos will capture the words he does not articulate.
